Colombian Truckers' Strike Might Restrict Coal Exports

Colombian truckers, protesting low trucking fees, have limited thermal coal movements from inland Colombian states to ports at Buenaventura, Venezuela, and the Caribbean.  Coal exports have not yet been affected due to adequate port stockpiles of Colombian coal, but exports and Atlantic basin freight rates will come down in the short-term if the strike continues.
